Explore the world of wines in the heart of Virginia
Vendors from all over the state are serving up a variety of wines and delicious dishes to entice a wide audience
Richmond, Va. From February 17th to February 21st, Richmond CenterStage on 403 North Third Street, turns into a world of exciting aromas and tastes for wine and food lovers from all across the state. A great variety of vendors will be attracting newbies and connoisseurs alike with “Virginian an Italian wines, craft beers, whiskeys, ciders, artisan burgers, smoked cuisine, specialty food”. Doors to Virginia’s 9th annual wine expo will be open from 10am to 9:30pm. With over 600 tastings, there is something for everyone!
Maureen McDonnell, former first lady of Virginia and Virginia wine enthusiast shares her enthusiasm for the expo at an interview: “The Virginia wine industry has a lot to be proud of and we celebrate the winemakers’ success! It’s a very pleasant way to spend your day and (…) experience Virginia”.

The opera “Romeo and Juliet” will be hosted at Richmond CenterStage simultaneously as the wine event to complete the cultural experience and add Italian flair to the local exposition. This year’s special focus is on Italian wine regions, so guests can look forward to a broad selection of Italian delicacies and libations.
Both Travel+Leisure and National Geographic have endorsed the event and we are happy to announce that this year’s expo is an environmentally conscious Virginia Green event.
Tickets to the grand tasting are $45, while many other tickets and lunch/dinner ticket options are available as well.
